The Kitchen
Restaurant, Petersfield
BFES overcame a number of obstacles to achieve the complete design, supply and installation of a kitchen in this new restaurant, including gas supply problems and building and delivery delays from third party suppliers. Working closely with the client to solve these difficult onsite problems, BFES expertise, experience, professionalism and project management skills ensured the success of this challenging new enterprise.
Derry Butchers
Portsmouth
BFES were invited to make a thorough survey of an existing refrigeration system with a view to converting a freezer room (operating at temperatures of -18˚C) to a chill room (+2˚C). A close inspection of the existing poorly insulated walls led BFES to suggest that two new rooms should be built, one freezer room and one chill room with a newly insulated wall and floor area and a more efficient ventilation system. This carefully planned and implemented solution not only saved the client money on the service and maintenance of his existing inefficient system, but, through sound project management, optimise the performance of his refrigeration ventilation systems, and thus the efficiency and profitability of his business.
Sinah Warren Hotel
Hayling Island
BFES were contracted to completely update an existing inefficient ventilation system and fit three new ventilation canopies to be fully complient with changes in Health & Safety legislation. BFES were allowed only a six day window to complete the extensive work in this kitchen which supplies 450 covers three times daily, seven days a week. The strict time frame necessitated the design and installation of a temporary kitchen to keep the hotel operational during the extensive refurbishment. BFES, despite strict time and cost constraints, brought this project in on time and under budget, with minimum disruption to the smooth running of this busy hotel.
